Gastric TroubleGastric trouble is also one of the stomach disturbances, that is seen on a large scale Constipation and Indigestion Gastric trouble is also a common problem of now a days. Men, women, aged people and even children are among the sufferers of gastric trouble. The main symptoms of Gastric trouble includes distended abdomen, sounds in abdomen, tensed stomach, release of wind with sound from anal passage and belching.

Gastritis occurs because of an inflammation of the lining of the stomach, and has many possible causes. The main acute causes are excessive alcohol consumption or prolonged use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, also known as NSAIDs such as aspirin or ibuprofen. Sometimes gastritis occurs after major surgery, traumatic injury, burns, or severe infections. Gastritis may also occur in those who have had weight loss surgery after the banding or reconstruction of the digestive tract. Non-erosive causes are infection with bacteria, primarily Helicobacter pylori.

Certain diseases, such as pernicious anemia, chronic bile reflux, and certain autoimmune disorders can cause gastritis as well. The most common symptom is abdominal upset or pain. Other symptoms are indigestion, abdominal bloating, nausea, and vomiting. Some may have a feeling of fullness or burning in the upper abdomen. Gas is the collection of odorless vapors including nitrogen, carbon dioxide, oxygen and hydrogen and in some cases methane as well. The odor comes from the bacteria that are situated in the large intestine that releases small amounts of gases. Understanding the causes of gastric trouble, help to reduce the gas with effective treatment.

There are several types of gastric problems and are classified according to their causes and features. Gastro-esophageal reflux, Gastric or duodenal ulcers, Motility problems are some of the types of Gastric trouble faced by majority of people. A gastroscopy, blood test, complete blood count test, or a stool test may be used to diagnose gastric problem.

Indigestion Treatment of gastric problem includes taking antacids or other medicines, such as proton pump inhibitors or antibiotics, or avoiding hot or spicy foods. For those with pernicious anemia, B12 injections are given. There are some easy methods considered as home treatment of gastric problems. Soups can be taken at least 20 minutes before meals that help in digestion, as they are ideal for replacing liquids and salts as well as stimulating the production of gastric acid. Drinking water with two three drops of mint essence also help to reduce gastric problem. To prevent acid in digestion, lime juice with cider vinegar in a glass of water before meals. Ginger tea after meals aids in promoting digestion, while herbal tea prepared using blackberry, raspberry, mint and chamomile helps effective digestion.

Treatment of gastric problems can also be carried out through several exercise forms and Yoga asanas. Most of the people who practice regular exercises face minor gastric problems as compared to others. Self-regulation and exercises are best ways to avoid gastritis, however medications in homeopathy, Ayurveda and allopathic are also available in the market.
