Indian TV serial `Bhabi` is a soap telecast in one of the famous channels of Star group, Star Plus in the afternoon time. The housewives mostly watch this, as others can`t manage with its timings. This is the story of a girl Saroj. She is a bride who finds her life changing in a light speed the minute she lifts her bridal veil. There is also a love story, which starts between Tilak and Saroj.

Plot:
When this Indian TV serial `Bhabi` started, it had a basic storyline. The newly married Saroj is coming with her husband Dr. Prakash to his place. Her face is hidden beneath her ghunghat. Her sole blood relation i.e. her elder brother is also with her. An unfortunate accident with another vehicle carrying a marriage party renders her unconscious; inside the other car there were Pushpa and Tilak who were also newly wedded. Because of the accident Pushpa dies and Tilak who has never seen her wife, mistook Saroj as her wedded wife and took her to his place.

After some hours she recovers in the warmth of her husband`s home she realizes that the man she is with is not her husband. There is no trace of her Dr Prakash and her brother. She becomes confused and decided to clear it very soon. Consequently Saroj learns that the family she has come to , including her `husband` have never met their bride face to face. She is mistaken for a girl called Pushpa. She is the girl that everyone thinks, Tilak has married. When Saroj reveals her identity to Tilak, he is shocked. He realizes that at the accident site, having never seen his Pushpa`s face, he brought the wrong bride home. As the two decide to reveal the case of mistaken identity, a crisis arises. Unable to accept the death of her husband in the accident, Tilak`s mother falls ill. Tilak pleads with Saroj not to tell his family right away that she is not his bride. They start living together but Tilak constantly search for Dr. Prakash. The story goes on. Some changes happened in the plot as the lead protagonist wife reappearing and wife enemies taking revenge on her in-laws, property disputes, etc. the serial is still running in the said channel and presently the story has evolved into a rebirth saga with man claiming over wife who is look alike of his wife who was killed by look alike of lead actor 28 years ago.
